OK! That is enough talking about me in third person.

Let’s break the ice!

I am a mental health specialist, human rights advocate, certified coach practitioner, weekend school principal, a blogger and more.

This website is the home of my life’s work. I write about habits, potentials, productivity, rights, advocacy, and other topics that I find important for changing the world to a better place through goal setting, achievements, self-growth and lifting others.

Basically the questions I’m trying to answer through my work are, “How can we live better?” and” How can we influence the world?”

In order to answer that question, I share latest research, best practices, and practical tips in a way that you can easily understand and actually use. My specific focus is on self-improvement and social engagement.

My story

I come from a mixed family, belong to an oppressed Shia minority and immigrated to U.S to obtain higher education after growing up in Middle East. This one sentence should give you enough impression of all the crazy things I have seen in my life!

My life experiences and interaction with different groups and cultures helped me see the need for advocacy, importance of education and blessing of having peace at heart and in the society. Therefore I stretched myself and designed a life and career that enable me contribute to both areas that I find crucial in human development and success: human rights and mental health education.

My Belief

I believe every one person matters and therefore should leave a long lasting foot print on the earth. Don’t get me wrong, it does not mean add to pollution, it means live an impact full life.  Make changes to the world!

My Mission

My mission in life is to create meaningful and lasting life experience for people around me, because I believe every one of us has power to add value to life of others.

How do I do it?

I write, read, present and mentor.

Human rights and Advocacy: I take it upon myself to speak up when people are treated unfairly. Give voice to voiceless minority through my human rights research and advocacy projects and blog.  I am the first female Shia rights researcher in the world with United Nations accreditation.

Read my research on WWW.Shiarightswatch.org

Mental Health and Coaching: I realize people spend most of their lifespan working. In many cases people work to earn money and that does not mean they enjoy what they do. Such discovery motivated me to research productivity and wellness at workplace.  I started my own practice as a certified coach practitioner.

My services and blog can be found on WWW.MindYourWork.org

Final Words:

I believe the best way to change the world is to improve self and also engage in the society through active participation and advocacy.  I don’t claim to have all the answers, in fact I use the opportunity of sharing to research and learn too and I still have a lot to learn. However I’m happy to share what I’ve learned along the way.

If you’re ready to learn how to better your best and change the World to a better place, join me.
